Please Note: The images shown are CGI renderings of the new 2025 lakeview lodges, which is currently under construction. While they give an accurate representation of the lodge's design and layout, some features may vary upon completion. We aim to deliver the experience as shown, but there may be minor differences in the final build.
Disabled Access
Unfortunately, none of our lodges can be classed as fully disabled friendly. Please see below for the details on the two lodge options that we have here at Viaduct.
Lakeview Lodges: Our Lakeview Lodges offer some accessibility features, but please note they are not fully adapted for wheelchair users. Each lodge has a minimum doorway width of 826mm. The lodges are accessed via a gravel slope, which will be difficult for wheelchairs, followed but a couple of steps up into the patio to access the lodge. The closest fishing pegs are around 80m away from the lodge.
Lakeside Lodges: Our Lakeside Lodges offer the added benefit of private fishing pegs right outside the lodge, providing convenient access to fishing. However, the doorway width is narrower at 600mm, which may not meet full accessibility standards for wheelchair users. Most have level access to the lodge, but some of our lakeside lodges have steps so always best to get in touch to check which lodge is best suited to you.
All Lodges are equipped with walk-in showers for added convenience. However, they do not have fully adapted wet rooms, grab rails, or additional mobility aids in the bathrooms.
🚗 Parking & Access: Parking is available directly outside each lodge, but some access involves a gravel area/slope that may be challenging for push wheelchairs. Our staff are always happy to help with luggage and checking in.
🎣 Fishing Access: The pegs are made of wood, and some have a step down to them, depending on the bank. The surrounding terrain is grass and gravel, and accessibility varies across the site.
Please speak so us before booking so we can make sure we meet your needs.
